I just found out about the 700/710 upgrade program that was available last year. and after calling Dell parts, they have the mobo in stock, but have no processor for it at the moment. I was wondering what other CPU's could be used in it as I've been told that some of the new Dual Core units with the higher Front Bus speeds would outperform even the older quadcores with slower bus speeds.

I was also wondering if i could jsut purchase the MOBO and supply my own processor?
