Boot from external HDD ?
Hi there,
is it possible to install WinXP or Linux onto a USB-HDD and to boot from there ?
If yes, how is it done ?

I've got an Inspiron 5150 with BIOS A26...

I have an i1100 and a29 had usb boot and a30 does not. I had to send the laptop in for repair and they upgraded the bios to a30 and now I don't have usb boot anymore.
Is there a way to enable that without downgrading the bios?
