Hello,

Since I have my Studio XPS 1645, I have noticed that my monitor flickers quite often. And today I think I found the problem, but have no idea how to fix it. While at the office I have a window behind me and that is why I keep the brightness a bit higher. But accidentally I hovered the laptop's web camera and my screen dimmed to the lowest brightness level. I removed my hand away from the camera and the original brightness was restored. I managed to re-create this few times.

As far as I know my laptop does not have any ambient light sensors. Could this be some kind a bug in the camera, that tries to automatically adjust the display brightness. Has someone experienced this as well?

Another question. When I set black background, I can see that the display is a bit brighter at the left and right edges than in the middle. Is it normal for the full HD display?
