I have a fan constantly blowing on my Inspiron 1525, so support advise me to run diagnostics from the Dell CD.
As this was a gift, I didn't get the CD, so I was directed to the Dell Drivers update page.

When I got there I found LOADS of updates, and out of 50 something possibles, I narrowed this down to 37, some of which are probably not needed but were recommended, even tho' I didn't have the relevant hardware installed.
The drivers personal update list page DOESN'T included the Dell Importance rating - NB Dell, please include !!, so that makes it more difficult to decide, even so I have more than one 'Urgent' etc, some are BIOS, blah blah.

So can someone advise how I can determine the Installation sequence please?

I appreciate that in some caases it doesn't matter, but I'm sure that some system ones need to be in order.
