I5150 Gaming Issues
Recently I was playing games on that laptop. Of course it's not so great because DELL released terrible video card for this laptop.
Anyway, I get to play from time to time and discovered that games simply lag.
At first I thought that there are too many processes or something.
It wasn't the issue. Then maybe it was a speedstep. I set on ALWAYS ON, and fangui(?) observed speeds and temperature (somehow it won't lock fan at highest speed). After gaming I notice that regulary frequency jumps down to 1.5Ghz so maybe it was why games lag.
But why it does it?
The CPU speed reaches up to 75'C which I believe is high for any CPU. I can feel that HDD also gets very hot. Maybe it's overheating.
I'm playing UT2004 and C&C generals.
