Jumping text in E-mails

I have a Latitude Cpi and lately I get the problem thatwhole blocks of text suddenly move from the original placing and  migrate elsewhere in the e- mail.
I use outlook express as my client
It's just done it again in this mail moving the "I use ..." to after "text..."
I use a M/soft Intellimouse as the touch pad is very sensitive.

    A common cause of this problem is the sensitivity of the touchpad.  Even though you are using an external mouse, your thumb or even your sleeve could be contacting the touchpad and causing mouse cursor movement and just plain messing things up.  Go into page 2 of system setup and change the pointing device setting to exclude the touchpad.

    Thanks BB.  I'll get the manual out tomorrow for sure. I'll be glad to get it sorted but till I do I'll try rolling my sleeves up a bit.

    Oh dear!  I have ditched the old Latitude CPi and bought a nice Inspiron 1150.  I attached a USB mouse again and the pzroblem appeared on the Inspiron! The mouse is a Microsoft Optical cabled mouse,  two buttons and a wheel which is set for d'click.

    Once more I find it almost impossible to construct e-mails as the 'sticks'  of text keep jumping out of the place they are typed into and re-appearing elsewhere in the message.  Their is no rhyme or reason to the migration of the text.

    I was able to sort it our with the CPi in the BIOS but I don't really understand the syntax of the BIOS in this one.  The setup screen allows me to set the keypad (is that the same as touch pad?) to be activated by either Fn or Numlock.  How does that work please.  I've tried all settings apart from default.

    Fortunately I have a desktop in the office which suffers from no such Prima Donna tactics.

    Help me if you can?
