I have a brand new Latitude E6420 that I chose partly for the touch screen functionality. I have just installed Windows 8 but haven't yet figured out how to enable the touch screen. Device Manager shows that there are issues with both the Broadcom USH w/swipe sensor and the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Neither one is installed. The details for the Broadcom say that drivers are not required and the details for the basic display adapter say that Windows cannot load the driver.

I checked the driver downloads for my system  on Dell, but neither one appear to solve the problem. The Intel driver on Dell is older than the one already installed and the Nvidia one failed installation.

Any idea on the driver issues?
