I have a D630 I am doing some modding to (identical model gutted running as a monitor with extended desktop and other goodies) but anyway the D630 I am running this from has a measly T7100 @ 1.8Ghz with 2MB cache....I upgraded the ram to 4GB PC2-6400 and the 1490 wifi card to a 4965AGN along with buying a new keyboard.  

I guess my point is they only list up to a T7800 2.6Ghz processor @ 4B cache and I have read they can handle a T9500 @ 2.6Ghz with 6MB cache its the same 800MHz FSB but will the bios work with 6MB cache?
