Message at Start up: "AC Power Adaptor Type Cannot Be Determined"
Hi, folks--
System: Dell Inspiron 6400, Windows XP, 18 months old, new battery 4 months ago.
Upon startup, I'm getting a black screen with the message "AC power adaptor type cannot be determined. Your system will operate slower and the battery will not charge"....
There has been no change in this system since I replaced the battery 4 months ago; I'm running the stock 65w Dell AC adaptor. Is the issue in that adaptor, or did i loose a widget in the Inspiron itself?
