Why would you want to use a laptop LCD as a desktop monitor?

I know people use desktop monitors as monitors for their laptops, but what you want to do is kind of different.

Practically no way to do that ..u need to disconnect the screen frm the laptop ,unplug the cable tht connects it to the video card , probably get an adapter for you desktop connector ..

Because I have a computer at work, but due to severe lack of space the desktop monitor is about 1.5 ft higher than my eye level and im sick of having to creek my neck up to see the monitor.
