I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop and require a new battery. I have looked on the Dell site for a new battery but I am unsure if the batteries that they currently sell will fit my laptop. Does anyone know if they do.

The batteries are for the Inspiron 8600 and Inspiron 510M.
