"On Battery" vs "Adaptor"

hy all,

this is my second post on Dell Community, since i'm a new user of laptop so i need some of your tips how shuld i use my laptop.

It's about using laptop "on battery" and "with plugged adaptor". i've recently browsing on internet to find some usefull tips about this. But i'm confuse wich methode should i use, so i post this thread. This is some methode i've found while i'm browsing :

  1. "on Battery"----> charge battery until 100% with on/off opperating laptop, then unplugg the charger and use laptop until battery empty or need to recharge, and then recharge the battery again.
  2. "using battery with plugged adaptor"---->always use laptop with plugged adaptor on, without remove the battery even when the battery has fully charged.
  3. "using plugged adaptor only"----->remove the battery, and then always use laptop with plugged adaptor on

my question is :

what is advantage and diss-advantage for my laptop hardware and the battery, beetwen those three methode above?
