I have a Inspiron 2500 . This just started in the last couple of days. When I use the laptop on a/c charging, the fans will run continuously, BUT when you remove the power cord and go to battery, the fan will stop shortly after and do the "normal" off and on thing.

Just seems to be a problem know when I plug it in and try using the computer on a/c. I am getting a new battery, unsure if this could be the problem or not

any help will be appreciated!!
