Hello all,

I wouod very much like to connect my laptop to my tv screen so that I can watch vides, play games, etc.  Here is what I know at this point.  I have a Dell E1505, Radeon video card, s-video cable with a 7 pin to my laptop and 4 pin to my tv.  From there I need help.  I ahve been in control panel, settings and all that.  Here is what I see so far that I can remember.  I do see the #1 and #2 screens on the laptop screen in the settings.  When I pull down the dsplay pull down I see a 1 and 2 listing of exactly the same thing.  I have hit the fn f8 key as well.  When I do that my laptop screen goes black until I hit it again.  I cannot get a picture on my tv at all.  It is a regular old cable tv hooked up to a cable box and dvd player.  I know the stuff I have written is somehwat vague at this point but I would so dearly love to make this happen.  If any of you would be willing to help it would be so much appreciated.  Ask any question you need answered and I will answer it for you.  Please respond to my regular email address at iceman6409@frontiernet.net.  Thank you all in advance.
