I have a Dell XPS a couple of years old. I have Realtek High Definition for Audio, if that matters. Sound worked fine up until a few months ago. Now after a couple of minutes the sound becomes static-y and slows down, video freezes and sound becomes very distorted until it stops completely. It is frustrating since I can no longer listen to music or anything. Does anyone have any idea how this problem can be solved? Do I need to replace the speakers? I am clueless. Thanks for any input.  E
