USB PROBLEM
I tried to load the drivers for my webcam but received a message that it was unable to load the drivers on because the usb version on my system needed upgrading.My operating system is Windows ME on a Dell Inspiron 2500.I have also downloaded updates for my system from Dell, Microsoft and Intel but the problem still exists.Please can anyone help.

Is the Webcam USB2.0 only? Because if so you may have a problem, as your system only has USB1.1. In that case, in order to get it working you may have to buy a PCMCIA USB2.0 card which adds anything from 2-4 USB2.0 ports.
