WiFi question

Folks,

I have a WiFi question.

I have a Dell XPSM1530 (built January 2008) with Vista Home Premium with SP1 and the

Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN; T7250 chip; 3 gig ram.

I would like to find out what version of the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN driver is being used on your 1530. Can you take a moment and let me know?

You can find out the version using the following path:

Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Device Manager\Network Adapters\Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN

Double click on Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN and go to the Driver tab to see the version.

Thanks,

RickM46

    TwoStep55,

    Thanks for the info!

    WiFi BSOD solved!!!!!

The version Dell installed on my machine is V12.0.0.52. Per this forum, that was a beta version from Intel that should not have been installed - it crashes. I downloaded V11.1.1.22 (listed as V11.1.1.3) from the Dell XPS website and no more BSODs.

Also thanks to all of you who replied - you all moved me in the right direction.

    Thanks a bunch!!
