2407 Shipping Delay Problems

I was all set to order a Dell until they lied about delivery on the site and the 24" model won't actually ship out for 7-10 days.  Nice time for Dell to do a sale on them when they don't even have them in stock.  14 hours later and they still list it that it will typically ship out in 24 hours.

I was then going to get a refurbished one but those also won't ship for 7 days.  Again I can't figure out how this can be when they showed they had 19 of them.  Why in the world would they list something as refurbished that they haven't yet refurbished it and have it ready for shipping.  The FAQ says that systems typically ship the same day.

Also read the fine print on the refurbished because it doesn't state anywhere on the refurbished product page that monitors only have a 90 day warranty instead of the 3 years.  The FAQ on the refurbished says that all systems have the same warranty as new and no where on that page does it say anything different about warranty on monitors or other products.

Only after ordering I found out about the 90 day warranty (small link on the main Refurbished monitors page if you scroll down) and the 7 day shipping time (even though I paid an extra $60 for overnight shipping).

It then took over 20 minutes on the phone to cancel the order.  First I was told I couldn't cancel it because it was in production.  How can a refurbished monitor be in production?

Because of this I'm going to likely go with a Samsung instead which I have always had good luck with and can pickup locally.
