P2425H, no display over USB Type-C Port
Bought New Monitor P2425H, tried to connect my laptop over USB Type-C available on quick access port. Laptop is charging, but no display. Can somebody confirm if it is supported or I'm missing something?

So do I have to send this monitor back and get a different model? I thought it would work from the information on the sales page.

why does this monitor not come with an HDMI cable?
- Video connectivity with DisplayPort, HDMI, and VG

Possible workaround = Laptop USB-C port --> retail USB-C to DP cable --> P2425H DP in port
Why no HDMI cable? Unknown as to why. All we know is that would have been a decision made by the Displays team. The sales page showed all what video cable ships with it.

Andy K is correct.
The P2425H does not have USB-C port that sends Video + Data. See P2425H User's Guide pages 15/16.
$199 Dell Pro 24 Plus Monitor P2425H, video ports = HDMI 1.4/VGA/DP 1.2
$299 Dell Pro 24 Plus USB-C Hub Monitor P2425HE, video ports = HDMI 1.4/DP 1.4/USB-C
