XPS 8300, graphics card upgrade, #5

Question

I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card of my Dell XPS 8300 desktop, and am looking at the AMD RX 5600-XT. Would that be compatible, and if not, does anyone know of a graphics card that is compatible and works well for gaming? (AMD would be preferred but as long as it works well and doesn't break the bank I'm fine with whatever.)

No you can't run $300 cards like that since those require bigger power supplies. Your model is 9 years old now. Save the money for a replacement computer in the near future.

...I used an EVGA GTX 1060 SC 6GB GPU in a XPS 8300 without any problems.  I'm now using that same graphics card in a 8930.  Both computers had/have the stock 460W PS.  Great card, works very well for me.  As always, YMMV.
