I have been trying to connect using Skype. I've managed to create a username, but can no longer connect to skype to make calls. It takes absolutely ages for the blue 'Signing In' circle to go round and round, then a message 'Skype can't connect.'  When I click the Get Help button, it says to restart (which I've done repeatedly) and to contact my Network Administrator. I've checked the password. Another computer sharing the router can connect easily, so it's not the connection. My XPS laptop is less than twelve months old. Any ideas?

May have well be timed out, have you got a password set, also do you have administrator rights. Try right click icon, select Run as Administrator.
