Speakers for E172FP ????
Hello,
Does anyone who where I can purchase the speakers that attach to the bottom of the E172FP ? A friend of mine has the same monitor and the speakers with it are Dell AS 500 speakers. I have searched the Dell site and have been unable to find anything. I not sure what you call them, maybe bar speakers or speaker bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm at wit's end trying to find these.

AS500 Sound Bar for Dell UltraSharp 1703FP, 1801FP, 1901FP and 2001FP (more info here) does not exactly fit the E172FP! Check the width - it is not the exact fit (I don't know if anybody care) but E172FP width is 14.9" and the Sound Bar width is 13.5"... Just my 2c...

I also have a E172FP and the speakers that you need to fit on it are called the AS500Pa Sound Bar which is only different from the AS500 in that it is made to fit the E172FP specifically. Try looking for one of these on the Dell site. Hope this helps!
Dennis - I agree with unique0229 - the AS500PA Sound bar is the one that is made for the E172FP.
Canadian site - a call to Dell USA should locate this for you.
