In looking at past postings on this topic, I find two conflicting recommendations.  The first is to calibrate the U2410 in Custom Color mode, as recommended by several contributors here:

The other theory is that it's better to calibrate in Standard or sRGB modes, as in the official FAQ here:

I am wondering what the latest on this is.  I have been using the Eye-One Match 3, calibrating in Standard mode.  It looks OK, but I can't get the white point to 6500.  It seems to want to say at 5700 or 5800, with no way to adjust.

Is there any definitive guide to calibrating this monitor?
