Cloning one volume to another..
I can never get this to work and it's quite frustrating.
As an example:
I have two "exchange clone" volumes. Networker decides to put data on BOTH of the LTO3 tapes instead of putting it on one. So what ends up happening is I have 400gbs of data on one "exchange clone" volume, and then 30gbs of data on the second "exchange clone" volume.
I then attempt to just clone the SSID from the second exchange clone volume to the first and it doesn't work, it tries to grab a NEW volume....?
I don't understand why it's trying to grab more volumes when there is MORE then enough room on the first exchange clone volume. This is not only inefficient but it's wasting my LTO3 tapes.
If you know how I can get around this I would greatly appreacate it.
