Hi, I have little experience on Networker!!!

I have configured one group with some client with LTO 5 tape. In order to have benefit with this tape capacity, my job is defined to make the incremental (Monday-Thursday) and the Full on Friday.

I want to mantain the backup for 4 weeks on the tape and overwrite the content the following month. With the retention policy of 1 month , will the fisrt week expires and deleted from the volume on the tape?

I want to use Always one tape and maintain the last month.

Can you help me to understand better this concept?
