Networker 7.2.1 jbconfig

Hello,

I am new to the networker so your step by step help is highly appreciated I am facing problem and with networker 7.2.1.I wanted to configure auto loader in jukebox.When i tried to jbconfig it gives me following output although i have connected the jukebox.The OS is Solaris 10 and networker is 7.2.1

         1) Configure an AlphaStor/SmartMedia Jukebox.
         2) Configure an Autodetected SCSI Jukebox.
         3) Configure an Autodetected NDMP SCSI Jukebox.
         4) Configure an SJI Jukebox.
         5) Configure an STL Silo.

What kind of Jukebox are you configuring? [1] 2

There appear to be no SCSI jukeboxes connected to this system.
This could mean the SCSI jukebox(es) are not connected to the system,
cannot be seen (pending a reboot) or have already been configured.

Please rerun the program after making the necessary changes.

    Hello Nomi,

    Regarding your issue, i would like to highlight firstly that NetWorker version 7.2 is ended for support, you have to upgrade your version to a new version in order to be supported by EMC.

    For your issue in configuring the jukebox, it seems that there is no jukeboxes attached to your system, you have firstly to make sure that your server's operating system recognizes this jukebox. ensure that you have connected the jukebox well and installed correctly to the NetWorker server and the OS is aware with it.

    I had attached to you the jbconfig command syntax in this topic which includes also some tips for running jbconfig and steps in running the command. It is very useful.
