I'm trying to stack these 2 switches using the USB stacking kit we bought with these switches.  The problem is that I have them hooked up but in the Dell Web Manage it doesn't recognize it as stacking.  The stacking cables are hooked up properly cause there is a link light and to test I tried switch it from the transmit to receive just to make sure and there's no light.

 

I can stack via the G3 and G4 and it recognizes it right away and the computer on the slave switch is able to ping to our network. 

 

I've set the master as ID 1 and the slave as anything other than ID 1 and 2. 

 

Only the master switch was configured and both are running the latest firmware. 

 

anything else I might have overlooked?
