Which rails for S5000?
Hi,
I'm researching the part number that is needed for a Dell S5000 rack rails. (Or where to buy them?)
I know they aren't ReadyRails, as they're listed as "generic rails". Maybe they're Force10 rails, since that's where I download firmware updates - but it has a Dell badge on it.
The manual includes diagrams on how to install them, but no part number.

Nope, wrong rails. I mentioned it does not use ReadyRails. Have a look at any of the 3 links in my post.
Dell S5000 is different from most Dell switches.922

The other part I found was PD4W5
ASSY,BRKT,REAR,MET,4PST,S-SRSD.
But I don’t have an image of it to see if it matches those links.

Hi all,
I'm looking for the exact rail kit for the Dell Networking S5000 switch. I have photos of the original rails that came with the unit, but I cannot find them available anywhere online.
The rails consist of:
- Front mounting bracket (rack ear) with a 90° bend
- Long side support rails
The parts have the following stamped markings:
- Front bracket: S65-0151A-02 A, SAM SUZ
- Side rail: S65-0121-02 A, SAM SUZ
I've tried searching under Dell PN 3X8FW (listed as "PowerEdge Cloud 3U Rail Kit S5000") and 5RN1M (Type A5 ReadyRails), but neither matches the hardware I have.
Does anyone know the correct Dell part number for these specific rails, or where they can be purchased? Photos attached.

Hi,
It looks like part number N243X. All of the 1U switches should work with this.
