Can't find Wireless Connection

Recently upgraded from xp home to xp pro and now my wireless card does not see my wireless router. Inspiron 8000 with Linksys wireless router.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Try updating the network drivers and firmware on the router.

The basic configuration for Linksys would have the name of the SSID as : linksys with no encryption. You must configure the card with this same name in order to communicate.

The router appears to be working fine. No problen with the other xp pro machines. Sounds more like a card config issue, however not sure what the proper config is.
