I am experiencing a difficult phenomenon. First this a less than one month old computer bought from BestBuy. Geek Squad can't figure out what is wrong with it.

Okay the computer doesn't pull up web pages even though it is connected to either wifi or ethernet. I thought it was the wifi driver, or webroot antivirus but after removing them and reinstalling the driver from Dell.com no change. safemode with Network but didn't work.

I would appreciate any assistance possible.

FYI. I updated to windows 8.1 from the store.
