Hello, hope someone can help me - I am having a rather odd problem configuring wifi in XP.

 

I'm trying to connect using Intel Proset wireless to a BT broadband wifi router in XP. I haven't installed any of the BT broadband software, I'm just trying to connect with Intel Proset wireless and entering the WEP encryption key.

 

This works fine in my main administrator account. The odd problem that I seem to have is that if I set up any other user account in XP (including another administrator account) I have problems with the wifi connection: it connects without any problem but drops the connection almost immediately every time.

 

Any suggestions?

PS I'm using an Inspiron 9400, Windows XP, Intel Proset Wireless.
