Hi,  I was hired as a network admin and the equipment used at my place of work are Dell's Powerconnect 3348 and 5224 attached to a Cisco Router. I was given the password for the 3348 but not for the 5224. The previous admin left and he changed the password of the 5224 and I don't have access to it.

I know I can reset the 5224 to factory default by power reset and holding CTRL-F. But I was wondering if I could reset just the password and not losing the running configuraton?I can do this on a Cisco switch so I would think I can do it on a Dell switch too?
