router choice for D600

I have a wlan 1350 mini PCI card in my D600.  I have cable internet and am looking for an appropriate wireless router.  Will a 802.11g router be compatible?  How do i know if the card on my computer is b or g?  If it is 'b', is getting a "g" router any use or is it frivolous?
 
Anybody like the Dlink624?

    G-routers are backward compatible so if you have a b-card it will still work. 1350 should be B/G. If you get a b-router you won't get the G-download capabilites(speed). Even if you had a b-card I would get the g-router in case you were to upgrade a wireless card to g in the future.
