and im looking to run a program called Da Vinci Resolve, its an editing program,

my current graphics card is not strong enough to run the program, i have an integrated intel HD graphic 4600 and looking to upgrade to the Geforce RTX 2060.

is this going to ruin my pc or is this upgrade achivable? 

ive talked to a few people with varying results. if anybody can help me with this and if anybody know the program Da Vinci who can help with a the perfect graphic card it would be much appreciated!! 

im not very techy so i know very little about PC's ATM.
