Booting without PCI Risers
Hi,
I've just replaced de motherboard of a PowerEdge, but I noticed that the Left an Center risers are damaged, so I didn't install them, but the system doesn't boot, and show an error saying that risers are missing. So, my question is: Is there any way to boot without risers? On the user manual they are described as "optional", but I think they are mandatory.
Thanks in advance for your help.

no there is no way to boot without the risers.... even if u unplugg only one riser. you will always need both riser cards for boot up
