I have a R710 that had 2 4GB RDIMM sticks in it and I recently purchased 3 8GB RDIMM sticks to add.  The issue I am having is getting the correct placement for them all to work.  I am currently only running just the 8GB sticks, one in each bank but would like to utilize the two old 4GB sticks.

Is it possible to have a 5-DIMM config with one proc?  Anyone have an idea what that would be? I've looked through the manuals but haven't had any luck there.
