I'm trying to get the RMU working via serial cable. I have it working via network but it's way too limited and slow. I got a cable with the unit that says "straith serial" and the serial port on the server is enabled (bios and device manager in windows). The OS on the server is Windows 2003 Standard Server with SP1 (fresh install slipstreamed). I Tried HyperTerminal and CRT 3.0.2. All configured to 9600,8,N,1. Am my missing something? Could the cable be bad? I don't have a spare cable right now.. I'm guessing I'll have to dig one up.

Any suggestions would be helpfull.
