Dell 5530 - Nvidia Quadro P2000 - Maximum Displays
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I have a 5530, with a NVIDIA Quadro P2000. I also have the TB16.
From my previous device I have 3 external displays and was able to run the built-in display and the 3 external displays simultaneously. (Total displays = 4)
In looking at the specs for the p2000 mobile, it "has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it." -techpowerup
Which I have come to understand means that the handling of connections is handled by the Intel UHD Graphics 630 (Mobile) that is built in on my i7-8850H.
Looking at Intels spec sheet, it looks like running with the Intel stuff I am limited to 3 total displays.
However, looking at the review at storagereivew[dot]com[slash]dell_precision_5530_review
It indicates that it supports 4 displays.
I know I can mess with DisplayLink things, but I wanted to know if the system could handle it without extra configurations. I've tried various cable configuration connections, and tried chaining via DP etc, to no avail.
Does anyone have anything official from Dell that specifies the limit? or know if it's possible? I apparently can't post links, so I'm asking this way instead.
