We have a 3300MP projector. Last week at a conference, we got a message on the LCD saying that there was a "Lamp Failure" and the lamp ceased to work.

But, when I turned it on again a few days later, it worked fine and no failure is now reported. The projector does not get used that much - it's only done about 240 hours in 18 months.

I notice that a number of people have had similar issues, with some suggesting that it is a hardware issue.

We have about another 6 months of warranty to decide if something is wrong with it.

Does anybody have any thoughts?
