Intel X710 and Cisco SFP 10G DAC
Hello,
I have a strange issue getting Cisco SFP+ DAC cables to work with Intel X710 adapters on R740xd servers!
I got some DAC cables with same part number SFP-H10GB-CU5M/3M
Two of them is working perfect and the others not working !!!!!!!
After connecting them to Cisco switch, it displays just a difference in VID, please check below:

PID: SFP-H10GB-CU3M , VID: V03 , SN: MOC1941A3MK ---> THIS ONE IS NOT WORKING

PID: SFP-H10GB-CU3M , VID: V03 , SN: MOC2049A5TY ---> THIS ONE IS NOT WORKING
I made upgrade to server bios, intel i40e and i40en drivers and upgraded X710 cards firmware to v19.5.12: But without any change, still two only of the DACs is working and the others is not working !!!
Just note: the non working cables are manufactured in 2019 but the working are 2013!
Please help fixing this issue if there is some patch or urgent update to apply.
I already contacted Intel [https://community.intel.com/t5/Ethernet-Products/Intel-X710-and-Cisco-SFP-10G-DAC/m-p/1223690] and they advised to contact Dell as X710 cards installed are DELL OEM.
