CD stutter during music playback
CD-RW on Dell dimesion 8250- light on cd bay comes on followed by the cd icon next to the pointer at which time anything i am doing stutters for a second whether playing PC game, internet video or most annoying, playing music on WMP... cannont burn CD's as the problem occurs during the burn then playback of said CD records stutter... have unistalled cd drive and run diagnostic (primary IDE drive1 - no IDE device....secondary IDE drive 0 or 1 (cd-rw) diagnostics not supported) relayed all of the above info to Rick and suggested that Predator is the CD-DVD guru, would appreciate any and all help or input ......don't know if an e-mail address is tabu so will wait for response from any and all....have 768 rd ram of memory Pentium 4 processor - 2.4 gig
