ECC - BCV Volume not ready

In ECC the BCC volumes are coming up as, " volume not ready". Is there a reason they are doing this? I have read primus cases telling me to unmount or perform a split? Question is with split from ECC if I uncheck all the options will it split without affecting the source.

if those BCVs are established to STD ..they yes they will show up as "NR" ..not ready. Also i believe if you have unprotected BCVs ..and you have a failed disk that happend to have those BCVs ..they will show up as NR too. So could be one of those scenarios.

    ajw,

Dynamox is correct. While the BCV is established, that BCV will be not ready for that duration until split.
