Hi All!

I'm trying to do a proof of concept case for our client using Admin Center.

After installing Dell EMC OpenManage Integration I'm getting connection problems. I've read a lot of internet discussions on this topic, and checked all that I could find, but to no avail...

The versions are:

Windows Admin Center - 1910, installed in a Gateway mode on Windows 2019 Server VM.

Dell EMC OpenManage Integration - Version 1.0.1

Target (test) server - M630 Blade with Windows 2019 Server.

iDRAC version: 2.70.70.70

 

I can connect to a target server through Windows Admin Center, but if I choose Dell OpenManage Integraton - It tries for a couple of minutes to connect saying "Inventory information is being fetched from the target node. It

might take few minutes to display the information.", but then fails with 12 errors (one for every counter):

Health Status/ Hardware Inventory_Temperatures

Unable to communicate to target node server.domain.local. The possible reasons for failure are: 1. Target node is currently being rebooted, or is powered-off. 2. Firewall is blocking communication through SMB port 445.

All the firewalls are disabled. The servers are on the same network. I can telnet from WAC to target to port 445.

USB NIC also is enabled and works. I can open browser on a target server and connect to "https://idrac.local"

While the WAC says "Inventory information is being fetched" I can see a temporary user with random name being created on a target iDRAC and then deleted.

RedFish interface in iDRAC configuration is enabled

On the target server in C:\Windows\Temp\OMIMSWAC I can see a text file created with name "Inventory-random numbers.txt". In this file I see some errors:
