No you cannot run both on the same partition. You can however, revert to IE6 if you don't care for IE7. IE7 installs over IE6 and preserves it. I use the latest release candidate and like it. You might need to run this IE6 emulator for certain web sites like this forum after installing IE7. http://www.fiddlertool.com/useragent.aspx

To answer your question about add/remove: yes, IE 7 RC1 appears in the list as Windows Internet Explorer 7. As Mary says, uninstalling from there reverts back to IE6.
