Installing Symatec Pcanywhere

I have just bought Dell Dimension E521 with Vista home installed. I need to communicate with my business computer and could do it with XP, Having purchased Symatec pcAnywhere 12.0 I find that Vista does accept. Same with Norton AntiVirus, Has anyone found the same problem and is there a solution?

    Symantec has released  version 12.1 which does work with Vista.  If you just purchased 12.0, you might try contacting Symantec's customer service and see if they can help you.  If they can't or won't then you may be stuck with upgrading to 12.1 at a cost of 99.00 from the Symantec Store. 
     
    I recently downloaded this and installed it on two computers with Vista, and it works without issue.
