       My  13 Daughter was given a Kodak easyshare digitial camera for X-Mas ,being her first camera we decided on this one becasue of a couple of reasons ,it claimed to be very user friendly on ease of use ,it was not a expensive camera at $100.00 ,with the memorey card we purchased  with it ,its capable of holding 1000 pictures ! When I attempted to install the software ,so she could download the pictures into the My Pictures folder ,the software started making me very upset ,it installed Quick Time player with no option for it not to onstall Quick Time ,I do not like having Q/T player on my PC ,upon completeltion of installation the application froze up ,we plugged the camera in and even though in My Computer it showed that it detected sonmething attached ,it was only a series on #'s ,did not say easyshare camera etc. I do not have a memorey card reader however Im figured I could down load the pictures directly from the camera hooked up to my PC USB plug ? I was wondering if I can skip the easyshare instsall completley and use the 2005 Media Center , My Pictures app to work with this camera on my PC and skip the Kodak buggy software all together ,I tried opening the digitial application included in the office 2006 bundle sent to me from Dell ,ever since I installed that bundle that includes a digitial image app, I always recieve the error that "Office 2006 need to close now ,has run into a unexpected problem contact the manufactuer" and then it ask if I want to send a error report which I do however that never brings any satisfaction never hear from them ! Alot of times Office will run with out this happening ,however the first time I tried the digitial app I recieved this error message . I have a TV Tuner card so I always open the media center to watch TV in a small box ,I am praying someone can tell me with what to do ,Iam hoping I can just use the Media Center to get the pictures off the easyshare camera ,my daughter wants to post them on a web site ? Please someone help me ,greatly appreciated !!
