Lost Access to the Internet

On Friday afternoon my Internet Explorer stopped working.  Anytime I try and get to the Internet I get a message box saying

Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Exploere\iexplore.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the appliction's support team for more information.

I can still use Outlook and a News Reader.  Also other computer can connect to the internet so the problem is not a network issue.  I have tried to load Mozilla and Firefox and they get timeout errors.

I copied the IE files from a computer which does not have a problem and the problem still exists.

I have also been told that several other people have the same problem and it started at the same time.

Any suggestions?

Get out your XP CD and from a run command type this:

    sfc /scannow

This process will find and replace any missing files.

I found the problem. :smileyvery-happy: You must delete the Google taskbar. :smileysad: I am not sure why the caused the problem to occur when it did.  I went into C:\Program Files\Google and deleted the DLL.
