outlook express
I had some subfolders in my inbox of outlook express. They are now gone. Also, emails prior to 2/6 that were in my inbox are also missing. Please help.

Do a search for *.dbx files. If you find files with the names of the subfolders of inbox you can bring them back into Outlook Express using the procedure given here. (If they are in the Recycle Bin you can simply restore them without using this procedure, but it's unlikely they would be there.) I can't offer any help with the disappearing messages since 2/6.

This may sound stupid, but how do I search for .dbx files. I good with computers but when it comes to all the coding and filing - it goes over my head.
