I have a dimension 2400 with windows SP1. Since a couple of weeks ago, it started running very slow. I have Norton installed on it but it didn't find any big problems. I ran spybot S&D, found a lot of objects to kill. I had spybot killed them. However, this only lasted about a week. It's running very,very slow again. Yesterday I ran spybot again, found the objects I killed came back to my PC again. I had spybot to kill them again. However, this time, it only lasted a few minutes, I couldn't open any other application. Reboot didn't help at all. If I disconnect the internet connection, the machine ran a lot faster.

 

I had some spyware problems back in 2004. You gave me a software called hijiackthis. That fixed my problem three years ago. Yesterday I ran it again. I'm copying the log at the bottom of this message. Could you please help me to fix it? I can hardly use the machine any more.
