USB 3.0 error inspiron 3542
I have a dell inspiron 3542.It already came pre installed with windows 8.0 but i had recently formatted it with windows 7 ultimate x64 and when i try to install the USB 3.0 drivers available from dell.com,it shows the computer doesn't meet the minimum requirement for installing the software.

USB 3.0 functionality isn't natively supported in Windows 7. Did you install from a USB port and disable USB 3.0 functionality in the BIOS setup for the installation? If so you need to re-enable them in the BIOS setup.

USB 3 is not supported in windows 7. Reinstall windows 8. MS Support for windows 7 ends on Jan 13th 2015--Tuesday.
